Although facing many difficult challenges, Aboriginal culture is experiencing
a rebirth. The federal vote has finally been obtained.
Discrimination against minorities is now illegal. What remains is working
to change the personal prejudices of many Canadians.

Years of war and economic upheaval have begun to change the political
and economic climate. Equality for all Canadians is now seen as the goal
to be achieved.
