What is the current status of section 13 complaints?
Since 2001 to present (July 2009), the Commission has accepted 74 complaints under section 13 of the Canadian Human Rights Act. They breakdown as follows:

What percentage of the CHRC Caseload is attributable to section 13 cases?
Complaints alleging a breach of section 13 represent about 2% of all signed complaints, on all grounds, received by the Commission.
Is it true that the Tribunal has upheld all section 13 complaints?
Since 2001, there have been 17 decisions rendered by the Canadian Human Rights Tribunal on section 13 complaints. In all but one case the Tribunal determined that the respondents had breached section 13.
Each case was reviewed by the Tribunal in accordance with the law and based solely on the evidence presented by the parties to the complaint including the Commission.
